Park and Pool District

The Village of Powhatan Point is proud to offer a public park, swimming pool, and splash pad that provide recreational opportunities for residents, families, and visitors throughout the summer season. Managed by the Park and Pool District, these facilities serve as a centerpiece for outdoor activities, community events, and family entertainment.

The aquatic complex features a full-size swimming pool with a 10-foot deep end and two diving boards, as well as a 3,000-square-foot splash pad equipped with seven interactive water features designed for children of all ages. The adjoining park includes basketball courts, 1 pickleball court, playground equipment, swings, slides, open green spaces, and a large pavilion complete with lighting and nearby restroom facilities.

The Park and Pool District facilities are available for private rentals and are ideal for birthday parties, family reunions, graduation celebrations, and other community gatherings. Marina

Located off Mellott Street and along the scenic Captina Creek, the Powhatan Point Marina provides residents and visitors with convenient access to two of the village’s most valuable recreational assets, Captina Creek and the Ohio River. The marina serves as a gateway for boating, fishing, and recreational water sports, so you can enjoy the natural beauty that has long been an important part of life in Powhatan Point.
